Christmas decor in the East Wing lobby. I think Renaissance is weird in that way, that it doesn't have a main lobby but two separate lobbies; East and West. I guess that's why, because they have two, the East Wing lobby was nothing posh or over the top like how five starred hotel lobbies are supposed to be.

Shi-Wei & I
We were checking in early with Alex, and being Alex, he is forever later than I am. Damn cannot make it la next time if he's on a date.

They both had something to eat whilst I swore upon water because seriously! We were 4 hours away!! We had to kill time cos the room wasn't ready to be checked in till about 4. In that duration, there it was, all that heart pouring and nonsensical talks with Alex and it pretty much felt like old times, all over again :)
The view from the room 1626. 16th floor.
I quote Sam, "Hui Yat showed us the art of loving yourself."
& the back to back pictures shows how the master has taught well. As said in my FB.
That is Chee Weng. That is why they lock the windows.
A plus point for us, in the sense that we could strongly oppose to Julian fagging in the room :p Poor boy had to resist till he was finally at the lobby, far away from the rest.

Cupcakes courtesy of Sam!
Which were delicious btw, regardless of whether it was because we were famished or not :p
