Happy New Year everyone!!

Spent the New Year week outside of KL. It was a pretty quiet one in comparison to previous years, but it was a ball of fun :)

Watched some fireworks five minutes before 12am, and sat by the river after where the boys played a pretty physically hazardous game. It required one to spin around 20 times, and then pick a bottle 20metres away. Genius Wai Yik ran after twirling around, and crashed into a construction barrier. Fantastic Wai Yik.

All in all it was a great week, too much fun and too little time. Work calls and here I am on a Tuesday morning with Facebook as my best friend. Picture of kittens was taken at the Seremban R&R; they came out after a rainy afternoon to peek at the R&R crowd :)

Have a great year ahead everyone, make the most of it!

syaz, low, cherry and i took a tiring two-hour tour around the national zoo last saturday
the amount of walking done was crazyyyy, but that was very well compensated with doughnuts and steamboat after :D

had fun looking at the genital areas of male animals, the muscles on monkeys arms, and that one drunk dancing elephant haha :)

perhaps there'll be more pictures in the future but for now, here is a bull who stayed in the same position for five minutes (perhaps longer, i didn't stay to look):

The Monkey Says: Penang

there was a trip to penang in the month of february, with few of the many classmates. considering the current situation that crys and i are facing at home (complete boredom to the point of instant messaging each other despite the fact that we can very well reach each other at the stretch of our hands) , i figure this would be the best time to be ultimately patient and upload these photos.

we took a eight am bus (or some time as early) but reached way earlier before, so we breakfastd, sat around, and played countless rounds of chor tai ti.

michelle and i at the bus terminal, when our bus finally arrived

it was a longggg four/five/six hours (i lost count) but when we finally reached, we were famished. and guess where we ended up? good ol' kfc :D

here we are, waiting for our ten ringgit shuttle bus that ferries us to kfc

this was taken after kfc, on the way to the beach

there were so many failed shots of this, not one success so this two will do haha :)

ooh aaron

this was pretty much all i did on the first day we were at the beach
designated guardian of bags
a sand picasso :D

then i was buried

when the sun went down and there was enough of playing done, we went home to shower, change etc and ventured off to the night market not too far away

on the second day, we took a bus to gurney to have lunch, walk around the mall, and eat glorious hawker food (which immensely failed because most of us tapau-ed what we bought).

that's everyone waiting for the bus

blind man in the bus

had lunch at nando's before we walked our separate ways

this was on the morning of the third day, no wonderpets on the tele ;p

went to the beach before we pack up and leave

last group picture before we cabbed to the bus station in penang to transport us back to kuala lumpur

:)

throughout the entire time of uploading pictures and typing captions here and there, crys googled "things to do when you're bored" and went on a hysterical laughter fit reading the list. i played dead for thirty seconds before i realised hamse wasn't home and that was not our door that was opened
sigh

now hamse's back and crys's occupied, and they're both watching supersize me, and i have to find something to fill my time. wish me luck

The Monkey Says: High On The Hills

Trust me to be the last to post pictures. The first trip we took as Foundation students back in late September. Are we going anywhere this time around?

Crystal, Hamse, Syaz and I were the first few to arrive at KL Sentral. Lingered around McDonald's, watched Crys suffer in pain while eating with a day-old tongue stud, and waited for the rest to come.

The boys chose a newspaper over Crys and I. They were at it for a good half and hour >=(

Someone actually proposed the idea to be colour coordinated that day; to be in yellow. They matched the Digi pillars.
L-R: Christine, Amirul, Aaron, JQ

About an hour or more later, we arrived at the cable car station, where we would have to wait for a shuttle bus to bring us to Awana.

And so we waited for the longest time cos the buses only came on hourly basis.

We arrived at Awana and the unit was much nicer than expected :)

It was a pretty cool trip albeit being too damn short. This time around, make it longer aite :)

I just ended the funniest phone call with Syaz. Got me rolling on my bed gasping for air hahah!

"That fella talking, I don't understand what he's talking about. I see that fella's pimple I wanna picit wei cannot tahan wei but sure damn oily arghhhh"

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
