The Monkey Says: Maju, Progresif, Sejahtera

That is the tagline for Majlis Perbandaran Selayang.

Oh sure, I can see how the tagline fits perfectly as they carry out a contest called "Pertandingan Menangkap Anjing Antara Jawatankuasa Penduduk" offering winnings up to RM 15 000.

They sure are maju in the way they outwitted everyone else by having this competition. My oh my, why hadn't we think of such a great solution before, oh wait, maybe because it's inhumane? But oh well, by carrying out this sure-to-work competition, we are definitely maju. I bet them foreigners would be in awe at our dog catching skills, at how we skillfully beat them till they're limp before handing them over, at how we're so maju in using our own tools to catch all 150 dogs to win the prize money.

This competition would definitely outline how we are progresif. No other Majlis Perbandaran has figured such a genius plan to overcome strays in their neighbourhood! Oh what fools they are! We are also progresif in a sense that we carry this competition sepanjang masa. No, there is no due date, take your time fellas! Besides, I'm sure we will definitely progress with less howlings and barkings from dogs which we wouldn't have to waste much time and money killing these dogs since most of you will have to do most of the job, to ensure the dog doesn't run away or put up a fight. I can already see how progresif our Majlis Perbandaran will be with the help of our Jawatankuasa Penduduk in this dog catching competition.

Ooh! Sejahtera. Man, we are nothing but SEJAHTERA baby! This way is completely safe and offers so much peace because once these strays are gone, sejahtera all the way! We are educating the youngs by catching these ugly ugly mutts in a sejahtera way. Hitting with sticks or with a helmet, or hey! Maybe you could use your kids text books to throw at them. All we wanna do is provide you a sejahtera community, without the existence of stray mutts and this competition is living proof of our concern. Soon, I'm sure, we will manage to have a breakthrough with the rest of the Majlis Perbandaran to carry out this competition (of course, originally and carefully thought by us as pioneers) because it is the only way to provide a sejahtera environment. Yes, I'm sure.
