The Monkey Says: At The End Of Every Rainbow, There Is A Pot Of Gold
Cartoons were the ones who allowed such illustration to occur in my mind, putting into consideration that my creativity level is of negative one. All my life, from the moment that particular cartoon had portrayed a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, I had always thought it all meant literally. Gold welded into the shape of pot, with gold coins spilling all over the mouth of the said pot, and not forgetting, a leprechaun in his signature green outfit welcoming the very presence of me being there, likewise, acknowledging his existence. It wasn't till a couple of moments ago that I wondered, why a pot of gold? A fountain of immortality, the man/woman of your dreams, the book of life. These could be perfect substitutes to the said pot of gold.
Are we fed by greed or did he mean otherwise? As materialistic as I can get, I still would like to share a fair hope in believing that it didn't mean literal gold coins appeals. Secretly perhaps, Mr X who said such a line believed in sheer happiness if a pot of gold was found at the end of a beautiful phenomenon. The difference between Mr X and the rest is what dictates such bliss felt.
Ok lazy already bye
(btw this was the said post at 5 am that I couldn't finish -_-''')
