The Monkey Says: Happy Fathers' Day

It was nearing 2 am when I unfolded the convenient box. I placed the shirt I bought him into that box, closed it and wrapped it around with a ribbon. The ribbon was not long enough, so it was just a simple one horizontally around the top part of the box. Wrote a note and placed it alongside with the ribbon. Then I went out of my room and placed it on his table. Came back to the room and slept.

I'm awake and it is now 12.54 pm, the day after which really isn't considering I did all that at 2 am. Anyway. He would've probably saw it and opened it and chucked the box and ribbon to my mom for keeping.

Tell me now why am I so afraid of leaving the room?
