I stepped on the ground, barefooted and stared at that unfamiliar setting. I didn't do well in settings like those, in fact I tend to panic a lot thus creating my fear in the first place. As I walked along the side, I couldn't help but wonder if history would repeat itself.
Once again, I strolled along the sides, taking the opposite direction this time.
This time, I stopped under a shower, and jumped a little as cold water droplets started sprinkling all over me. Slowly, bit by bit, I moved in inch by inch and soon enough I was half drenched in cold water.
I turned off the taps and moved, reluctantly, forward. One step, two step, three step and already I couldn't maintain my balance or whatsoever. Regaining it, I stood there and watched as others did it effortlessly. I envied yet wondered how could one perfect such an imperfect motion. An imperfect motion I couldn't carry out even imperfectly.
I waddled in hopes that I would be able to, automatically learn it on the spot - leaving the thought that I have tried and failed countless times and that in the past I have required some serious saving (which is, rather a =) thought actually).
From the corner of my eye, I observed and looked around to see if I was being watched, if such embarrassment was caught on video or something. Yes, shameless as I am, I do not enjoy such exposure.
Everyone was minding their own business, ignoring the constant screaming and gulping and coughing. One too many of people like me, huh? Not so unique after all am I.
Anyway. Back to my little adventure.
I copied movements and tried to carry them out and sure, it did work for a metre or so but that was that, then I would be back to square one. Unsatisfied that I would be left at one spot, I tried over and over again, different movements, and lo and behold! I could actually do one backwards yet failed miserably in forward motion. It's official, take your pick: retard or freak.
Seeing how I could do ONE boosted up my confidence and in no time I was waddling a little more than a metre.

I CAN FINALLY FUCKING SWIM BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111
And like I can float also man. And floating has got to be the most fun thing!!
Just laying there, watching satellites (no stars dumbass) and the dark sky with chlorine water blocking any sound besides movement of water from your ears. I finally found you, serenity.
