The Monkey Says: Why Is The Rum Gone?

Ok this has nothing to do with drinking alcohol or me stealing rum. Shame on you for thinking that I stole rum! Shame shame.
But why is the rum gone?
I know. But I won't tell you till the end of this post because! BECAUSE. beeeeeeeeeecause. You'll find out why. Yeap to find out why I won't tell you why is the rum gone you'll have to read on.
...
..
I'm a sick child.

Anyway.
On Sunday (which was yesterday -_-), went over to SPCA to volunteer for their jumble sale. Was there with Gin, Shi-Wei and Jean. Sam was supposed to come but she overslept -_- cis perempuan itu.

Event started off at 10 am with this very eccentric man banging on pots telling everyone we're about to begin.

Later during the day he carried a bear wearing glasses and shouted "Short-sighted bear for sale!!!"
Errrrr .. yeah. But no, he isn't the reason why the rum is gone.

Anyway.
About 2 hours later, the crowd calmed down a little so we went around pampering these little babies.
What little babies?

The puppies and dogs lah! Not the rum -_-

These puppies just arrived 2 days ago, after being de-wormed.

Little fur ball =)
Doesn't it just put a smile on your face when you see pictures like these?

But why settle for pictures? Why don't you adopt one and care for one today?

These puppies need to know what a loving home is. What it feels like to be cared and loved by an owner. Don't let them be put to sleep and to never experience such happiness.

These puppies are unique too. The picture above is an Albino puppy. Completely white even though both parents and siblings are coloured dogs. Happens one in a thousand dogs.

If puppies are too hard to train for you, get one of these more mature dogs. Some of them have been here for one to many months and it's about time they became familiar with the outside world.

SPCA offers a wide range of pure breeds and mixed breeds. Spitz, Golden Retriever, you name it. Male or female, your pick. There are so many dogs to choose from and seriously, if I could, I would take home every single one of them.

Why buy a dog from a breeder when you can get them much cheaper at SPCA? By doing this, not only are you adopting a happier dog to make a happier you, you're also helping SPCA to care for the other dogs that aren't as lucky as the one you adopted.

All a dog needs is a caring home and loving owners. Owners who wouldn't abandon their pets, just because something came up, or because one is too lazy to bathe and feed it.

Think about it. How many more dogs can SPCA help? If you've been to the SPCA in Ampang you would see how short of space they are having. How few dogs are crammed into one cage and how unhappy they look being caged up.

Make a dog smile today. Help change the mind set of the society. For once, make a path for others to follow.

"Will you adopt me?"

Dogs make good companions. Why should you even hesitate anymore?
Drop by SPCA's website to find out more or simply drop me a comment or a little something at the tagboard.

After the event, Gin and I went over to KL Convention Centre to meet up with her boy.

Shameless-ity has no end for us.

Oh by the way, wanna know why is the rum gone?

You really really wanna know?

Because this little bugger drank it all.

;p
